GMW is seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector for night shift. A minimum of 5 years CMM and manual aerospace inspection experience is required. AS9102 First Article inspection experience is preferred. Qualified individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and are detailed oriented are encouraged to apply.

Machinist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Utilize various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment to perform machining operations on all types of materials including but not limited to ferrous and nonferrous metals, nonmetallic materials, their alloys, and synthetic materials
- Work from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints; performs standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds, and feeds of machining
- Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings
- Select the appropriate cutting tools
- Set up and operate a variety of machines including but not limited to lathes or mills, and jig borers to perform multiple machining operations and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
- Improvise production aides as necessary to facilitate operations
- Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, techniques and thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations
- Ensure part count and data entry is accurate and correct consistently for both the Job Traveler and MES computer system
- Maintain a clean work area including; sweeping, mopping, and wiping down machine.
- Machine maintenance as instructed by management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years related machining experience or equivalent.
- Basic computer and math skills
- Use basic hand held measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow job travelers
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous machinist classes
