Our team is looking to add a few machinists and entry level Personnel to our team. The Entry level Personnel should be motivated, have good attendance and some mechanical ability. Any entry level Personnel that is accepted by Global Machine Works will be trained to operate CNC machines, inspect parts and taught basic Machinists skills. The Machinists should be able to run CNC machines, inspect parts and be reliable. Global Machine Works looks for individuals who want long term employment and has the desire to grow with a well-established company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Utilize various types of numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment to perform machining operations on all types of materials including but not limited to ferrous and nonferrous metals, nonmetallic materials, their alloys, and synthetic materials
· Work from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints; performs standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds, and feeds of machining
· Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings
· Select the appropriate cutting tools
· Set up and operate a variety of Cell machines to perform multiple machining operations and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
· Improvise production aides as necessary to facilitate operations
· Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, techniques and thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations
· Ensure part count and data entry is accurate and correct consistently for both the Job Traveler and MES computer system
· Maintain a clean work area including; sweeping, mopping, and wiping down machine.
· Machine maintenance as instructed by management

This job operates in a machine shop environment. Must be able to remain standing/walking position for majority of the time. This position is required to work around high-speed machinery and equipment and the use of any required safety equipment. There is exposure to machine oil, metal filings, unpleasant odors and noise. Job functions on and around mechanized equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy and safety awareness.

GMW is seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector for day shift. A minimum of 5 years CMM and manual aerospace inspection experience along with AS9102 First Article Inspection experience is preferred. Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Entry Level)

We are looking for an entry level Shipping and Receiving clerk to join our team that is willing and able to learn, and work hard. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all in and outbound shipments as well as packing and labeling of outbound shipments. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Process all in and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping in the shipping department.
· Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.
· Pack and label product based on established standards.
· Prepare shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation.
· Process all receiving transactions and paperwork in shipping department.
· Assist in maintaining shipping supplies inventory levels.
· Assist in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments.
· Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area.
· Perform required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
· Ensure part count and data entry is accurate and correct consistently for both the Job Traveler and MES computer system.

Raw Materials Clerk
Job description *** DAY SHIFT *** ** 4-10s, M-TH ***
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Receive raw material shipments from suppliers and customers – performing Receiving and Inventory transactions within manufacturing software system
* Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task – including but not limited to; hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly and/or pallet jack
* Perform Quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products under guidance
* Sort and store materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to inventory procedures and/or direction of Materials management
* Process all packages for shipping and receiving of materials as required
* Saw material to described lengths
* Conduct inventory counts as directed
* Maintain a safe, clean working environment
* Follow job travelers, use simple math to perform basic calculations and use basic hand held measuring tools
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of one year related experience or equivalent
* Familiarity with receiving practices and materials handling methods
* Forklift certified or equivalent
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
* Proven basic mechanical ability
* Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and precautions
* Rockwell & Eddy Current knowledge a plus
* Previous Aerospace experience a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regular communication with customers regarding orders & other support issues
- Provide product delivery status to customers
- Enter purchase orders & other data into computer systems per established procedures
- Organizes received data and source documents; identifies data to be entered
- Communicate & coordinate customer needs to GMW internal team
- Review incoming orders for conformity to; company bids, quantities, due dates, expedites, Terms & Conditions, etc.
- Analyze contracts and confers with various department heads to detect ambiguities, inaccurate statements, omissions of essential terms, and conflicts
- Interface with appropriate staff to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
- Proof data entered against source documents; makes necessary corrections
- Prepare reports and correspondence as needed
- Takes on additional projects as required
- Ability to work independently and with company leadership
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Skilled at data entry
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Minimum one-year administrative experience
- Minimum one year customer service
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in Business or related field
- One year working in customer service & data entry
- Accurately keystrokes a minimum of 65 wpm
