Our team is looking to add a journey level machinist to our team. The journey level Machinist should be able to set-up first run parts, trouble shoot and improve efficiencies of existing programs, inspect parts and be reliable. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Utilize various types of numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment to perform machining operations on all types of materials including but not limited to ferrous and nonferrous metals, nonmetallic materials, their alloys, and synthetic materials
· Work from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints; performs standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds, and feeds of machining
· Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings
· Select the appropriate cutting tools
· Set up and operate a variety of Cell machines to perform multiple machining operations and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
· Improvise production aides as necessary to facilitate operations
· Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, techniques and thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations
· Ensure part count and data entry is accurate and correct consistently for both the Job Traveler and MES computer system
· Maintain a clean work area including; sweeping, mopping, and wiping down machine.
· Machine maintenance as instructed by management

Job functions on and around mechanized equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy and safety awareness.

Our team is looking to add a few machinists and entry level Personnel to our team. The Entry level Personnel should be motivated, have good attendance and some mechanical ability. Any entry level Personnel that is accepted by Global Machine Works will be trained to operate CNC machines, inspect parts and taught basic Machinists skills. The Machinists should be able to run CNC machines, inspect parts and be reliable. We are looking for a Deburr specialist. Deburr includes filing, hand scraping, pen grinding, polishing, and buffing parts. This position requires the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will be organized, diligent, and able to work independently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Filing, hand scraping, abrasive burr, mechanical polish, and pen grinding.
· Inspect parts for conformity to specifications
· Polish and buff parts as needed
· Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
· Meet job standard times, and communicate when standard is not being met.
· Follow all safety guidelines established by GMW, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
· Must have the mechanical ability to learn processes and repeat them with proficiency
· Must have the aptitude to learn and utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, and specifications, written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary meet production requirements
· Ability to do repetitive work
· Ensure part count and data entry is accurate and correct consistently for both the Job Traveler and MES computer system.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in the deburr trade.
· Ability to retain information for measuring parts over time with instruction from lead or supervisor
· Basic computer and math skills
· Use basic hand-held measuring tools

Assembly Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION
Global Machine Works in Arlington Washington is looking to expand its Assembly department. GMW has recently built a brand new facility for Assembly and has constructed the area utilizing 5s lean in mind. Imagine working in a new building that is organized with new benches, lighting and tools throughout the entire department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
GMW’s ideal Assembly Technician will have a minimum of 1 year hands-on Assembly experience and will have good attendance.
The Assembly Technician is responsible for the basic duties below, but are not limited to just those duties:
* Learn and understand Specs and techniques to complete conforming assemblies.
* Maintain efficiencies through all operations in the department.
* Learn and understand 5s and maintain it throughout the department.
* Have the ability to install Rivets, High-locks, nut-plates, bushings and other standards.
* Have good hand to eye coordination.
* Have the ability to follow instructions and read Sketches and or Blueprints.
* Be able to work with your fellow employees as a team.

We are looking for an entry level Shipping and Receiving clerk to join our team that is willing and able to learn, and work hard. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all in and outbound shipments as well as packing and labeling of outbound shipments. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Process all in and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping in the shipping department.
· Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.
· Pack and label product based on established standards.
· Prepare shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation.
· Process all receiving transactions and paperwork in shipping department.
· Assist in maintaining shipping supplies inventory levels.
· Assist in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments.
· Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area.
· Perform required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
· Ensure part count and data entry is accurate and correct consistently for both the Job Traveler and MES computer system.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
